Step 2: The Proposal. We present our proposal, discuss all points, and thoroughly answer any questions you may have.

Step 3: Pre-Site Audit. Once the proposal is approved, our team does a pre-site audit. We take precise measurements, check for space and placement issues, and look for any possible technical or electrical issues. We will take care of any issues at this time.

Step 4: Custom System Design. With the data collected during the pre-site audit, our architect uses state-of-the art software to design and engineer a custom system that will meet your aesthetic and energy needs, and last for decades to come.

Step 6: System Installation. Now it’s time for your brand new Whittington Solar Energy system to be installed. Our highly trained installation specialists make sure the process goes smooth and with as little impact on the homeowner as possible, and we have professional roofers on staff. A typical install takes about 3 days. We take pride in the quality of our work and strive to make sure the installation is clean and attractive. How you and your home are treated is very important to us. The monitoring system is also installed at this time, giving you the ability to know what is exactly going on with your system and how well it is performing at all times.

Step 7: Final Inspection. Once the system is up it is time for the final inspection by the city or the county. The homeowner needs to be present at the time of this inspection.

Step 8: Power Grid Hook-Up. Once your brand new Solar Energy System has been inspected and approved, Whittington Solar Energy will contact PG&E and set up your connection to the power grid, so you can start producing excess power.
